The Mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama, announced that together with the Director of Security and Emergencies, as well as the Capital City Commission for Damage Assessment, they held a coordination meeting with the Central Commission for Damage Assessment.

According to Rama, the meeting focused on strengthening institutional coordination and implementing legal procedures for assessing the damages caused by the January floods, which have affected households, the agricultural sector, businesses and infrastructure.


He reaffirmed the Capital City's commitment to supporting affected citizens, emphasizing that the damage assessment process will be fair and transparent, in accordance with applicable laws.

Rama emphasized that institutions will continue close cooperation to ensure equal treatment and rapid assistance to all citizens affected by the floods.
