Prime Minister Kurti visits the exhibition "Experience" by the artist Shuk Orani, in Hamburg

On June 20, 2024, Hamburg became the center of an unusual artistic and diplomatic event, when the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with a high delegation visited the studio of the well-known artist Shuk Orani.

The delegation was accompanied by the Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in Berlin, Faruk Ajeti, the Minister for Communities and Returns, Nenad Rasic, as well as the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Culture, Daulina Osmani, along with other important collaborators, reports AlbInfo.ch.

Shuk Orani, the well-known multimedia artist and conceptualist, welcomed Prime Minister Kurti with a presentation of his artistic activity in his exhibition called "Experience".

His exhibition, which is open at ATELIER SO in Hamburg and is supported by Marktplatz der Manufakturen, includes over 95 artworks, such as paintings, sculptures, digital works as well as documentary films from the artist's previous projects. Over 30 works of art are large format, over 2 meters.

During the visit, the artist Orani presented some of his most distinguished works to the delegation led by Prime Minister Kurti. In a lively and fruitful atmosphere, opinions were exchanged and an interesting dialogue was created between the participants. The exhibition premises, which were curated by international curators and by the artist Orani himself, became the center of a conversation that ranged from artistic to diplomatic and social topics.

Prime Minister Kurti's visit to Shuk Oran's studio not only highlighted the importance of art and culture in diplomacy, but also marked a special moment for the artistic and cultural community in Hamburg and for the Kosovar diaspora in Germany.

The final part of the visit was accompanied by an open discussion about the role of art in society and the current cultural and artistic challenges in both countries. The exchanged dialogue was experienced as an important step to deepen cooperation and understanding between Kosovo and Germany in the field of culture and art.

The hosts and supporters of the artist were also present: the wife and collaborator of the artist in several special projects, the architect Ardiana Orani, the photographer and exhibition assistant, Daniel Prekepalaj, the unstoppable supporter Dardan Hazeraj, the supporter in the events of the studio, Dominik Prekepalaj.

With this visit, Shuk Orani and the exhibition "Experience" became not only a point of reference for contemporary art, but also an important platform for cultural and diplomatic dialogue between the two countries, Germany and Kosovo.
