The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, has today authorized Prime Minister Edi Rama to sign the agreement on Albania's accession to the Charter of the Peace Board, an international initiative to promote stability and peace in conflict zones.

The international board aims to promote stability, restore legitimate governance, and ensure lasting peace in territories affected by conflict.
