The body of Agim N., a resident of Wels, Austria, who had been reported missing since November 29, has been found without signs of life.

The news of his death was announced to albinfo.at by his family.


The 56-year-old Albanian from the village of Rainc in the municipality of Presheva but who had lived in Austria for many years, was found dead today (December 12, 2025) at around 12:40 by a pedestrian in a small pond in Hundsdorf, in the vicinity of Passau, Germany.

The passerby, upon seeing the body, immediately called the emergency services.

Firefighters managed to remove the body. According to the German police report, there are no signs of any illegal act or violence, however, the police are dealing with the case.

How did the disappearance of Agim N. happen?

According to the statement of Agim N.'s daughter to the Austrian police, her father, 56 years old, has been away from his apartment since noon on Saturday, November 29. He left the apartment in his car, a black Opel Mokka, and without his cell phone.

German police announced days ago that the car was found in a field in the municipality of Hauzenberg, in the vicinity of Passau.

It was reported that the car was found locked, however there was no sign of the driver.

Agim's family members have stated to albinfo.at that the victim's body has been sent to the IML for an autopsy, while it is not known when the deceased's funeral will take place.
