Powerful explosions rock Iran

A powerful explosion rocked the southern Iranian port city of Bandar Abbas earlier today.
The explosion occurred in an eight-story building, with parts of the lower floors severely damaged, while windows throughout the building were shattered.
The Hormozgan Crisis Management Organization, noting that investigations into the cause of the incident in Bandar Abbas are ongoing, said that following the explosion in a residential complex, 14 people were injured and, tragically, a 4-year-old girl lost her life.
Some unofficial sources have claimed that Alireza Tangsiri, commander of the IRGC Navy, was the target of the incident.
The Tasnim News Agency, which is affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, has denied these rumors as "completely false."
Other reports indicate that explosions were also heard in other Iranian cities, including Ahvaz near the Iran-Iraq border.
Israel has denied involvement in both explosions.
Otherwise, American forces are continuing to mass in and around the Middle East ahead of a possible attack on Iran. /Telegraph/
