Porsche Macedonia paves the way for electric mobility – The first most powerful Turbo DC chargers for electric vehicles are installed

Porsche Macedonia expands the infrastructure for filling electric and hybrid cars with two Turbo chargers with high capacity and filling speed.

Six charging stations for electric and hybrid cars are actively operating in Porsche Macedonia, of which 2 are the new Turbo DC chargers, with a capacity of 320 kW, 3 chargers with a power of 11 kW and a charger with a power of 7.2 kW. This means that at the moment the company has the most powerful fleet for filling electric and hybrid cars in the state.

The main feature of the new Turbo DC charger is the charging speed. According to the specification, they can charge the battery of Porsche's most powerful model, the Taycan, from 20% to 80% in just 19 minutes.

"Volkswagen Group's model offensive of electric and hybrid cars requires serious investments in infrastructure development. At the moment there are 6 charging stations active, but by the end of the summer we are expected to install 10 more charging stations, with which the total capacity of chargers within the company will be 1 megawatt. The investment is worth 500 thousand euros", declared Dr. Zlatko Mucunski, general director of Porsche Macedonia.

Within the offer for electric and hybrid cars, the company already offers the models Porsche Cayenne e-hybrid, Panamera e-hybrid, Porsche Taycan, Volkswagen e-up, Volkswagen Passat GTE and Volkswagen ID.3.

The offensive of models will be strengthened during this year, in which Porsche Macedonia plans to start sales of several electric models, such as: the world car of the year Volkswagen ID.4, Porsche Taycan Corss Turismo, SKODA Enyaq, Audi e-tron and number of large of hybrid cars, based on the existing models that are part of the company's offer.

Porsche Macedonia paves the way for electric drive. Proof of this is not only fast chargers in the company. Last period, as part of the Porsche Destination Charging project, chargers were installed in the main points throughout the country: in the capital at the Bushi Hotel, TCC Grand Plaza and Panoramika, but also in several other cities: Hotel Unique in Ohrid, Hotel Moderna in Demir Kapi and Casino Hotel Flamingo in Gjevgjeli, where customers with hybrid or electric cars can charge their cars.

Electric cars are the future of movement, and for this reason, we must actively work on building the infrastructure, so that cars with internal combustion engines can be replaced by cars that do not have a bad impact on the living environment.
