The State Police has published footage from Operation "Neonët 2", where 287 plants and seedlings suspected of narcotics, cannabis, combat ammunition, etc. were seized.
The Police announcement states that in implementation of the plan of measures to crack down on the cultivation of narcotic plants in closed environments, based on information obtained in operational ways, the Shkodër DVP Police services, in cooperation with the services of the Malësi e Madhe Police Commissariat, have exercised intensive controls in various environments, with the aim of ascertaining and cracking down on cases of cultivation of narcotic plants using lamps, drying and processing them for sale.
"As a result, the police operation codenamed 'Neonët 2' was finalized. As part of this operation, citizen DB, 22 years old, was arrested in flagrante delicto, his mother, citizen FB, 54 years old, was criminally prosecuted, and his father, citizen SB, 57 years old, was declared wanted, all three residents of the village of Bajzë," the announcement states.
During the searches in the apartment of these citizens and in an uninhabited apartment in the village of Bajzë, adapted for the cultivation of narcotic plants, the Police services found and seized as material evidence, 119 plants and 168 suspected narcotic seedlings, 515 grams of suspected narcotic substance Cannabis sativa, combat ammunition, 1 cold weapon (knife), 49 lamps, 47 inverter electrical appliances, 3 extractor hoods, 2 air filters, 2 vehicles and 9 mobile phones.
During the search of the uninhabited apartment, an illegal electricity connection was also found.
Also, during the search of the premises of the bar owned by citizen SB, 138 crates and bottles of various alcoholic beverages, suspected of being smuggled, were found and seized as material evidence.
Following the investigative and procedural actions in this case, citizens E. Ç., 27 years old and FD, 57 years old, both residents of the village of Bajzë, were detained, and criminal proceedings were initiated against citizens LL, 52 years old, resident of the village of Bajzë, and ID, 53 years old, resident of Koplik, all employees of OSHEE, for the criminal offense of "Abuse of duty", committed in collaboration.
The police announce that intensive work is continuing to capture citizen SB and to fully document this criminal activity.
The procedural materials were passed on to the Shkodra Prosecutor's Office for further action. /Telegraph/
