Police radar in Switzerland catches a duck flying very fast

A bird in Switzerland has caught a duck flying at excessive speed, and the photo shows that it is a frequent offender, local authorities announced today.

Police in the town of Koniz, near Bern, were surprised when, while reviewing radar images from a month ago, they discovered that among the violators detected by the speed control system was a wild duck, the municipal authorities announced on their Facebook page.

In a traffic zone with a speed limit of 30 kilometers per hour, a wild duck flew at 52 kilometers per hour, reports the Telegraph.

The Berner Zeitung newspaper then recalled that seven years ago, on the same date and in the same place, a wild duck was also filmed speeding, and authorities are wondering if it was a hoax, that is, is the photo staged?

The police firmly reject this suspicion and claim that it is impossible to manipulate either the photographs or the radar system.

The Swiss Federal Institute of Meteorology checks the radar system every year and all photos are stored and stamped, making them impossible to manipulate. /Telegraph/
