Police provide details on the disappearance of the 54-year-old in Kaçanik - the search is also being carried out with drones

A 54-year-old woman from the village of Runjevë in Kaçanik has been reported missing to the police after leaving her brother's house in the early hours of the morning.

The spokesperson for the Ferizaj regional police, Kanun Veseli, announced that the victim, HJ, who had recently been staying with her brother due to her health condition, left home at around 04:00 in the morning.

"The complainant said that this is not the first time such a case has occurred. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing pink pajamas and brown sweatpants. She is about 172 centimeters tall and weighs approximately 70 kilograms," Veseli said.

According to the official police announcement, the case was reported to the Kaçanik police station at around 16:30 PM.

The state prosecutor has ordered the initiation of an official investigation and the taking of immediate measures to locate her.

At around 19:35, a search operation was launched, involving the Search and Rescue Unit, police investigators from the station, and units of the UZRSH from Ferizaj, led by the station commander in Kaçanik.

Meanwhile, the search is also being carried out with the help of drones.

The police have announced that there will be additional announcements regarding further developments regarding the case. /Telegraph/
