Police Operation "Fireworks", large quantity of fireworks seized in Tirana

The State Police has announced that a large quantity of fireworks has been seized in Tirana, while the owner of the warehouse has been arrested.
The Police announcement states that hundreds of fireworks of various models, packed in boxes, have been seized.
"The 'Fireworks' police operation to prohibit the use of pyrotechnics, in violation of the rules and criteria, has been finalized. As a result of 40 intensive checks carried out by the structures of the DVP Tirana, in implementation of the plan of measures aimed at checking entities that illegally sell pyrotechnics/fireworks, by the services of the Police Commissariat No. 4, a warehouse was found in a garage, on 'Besim Fagu' Street, Tirana, where hundreds of packages of fireworks were kept, with the aim of selling them," the announcement states.
The Police further emphasize that as a result of the immediate intervention of the Police services, in this environment, its owner, citizen IK, 24 years old, was caught red-handed and arrested.
|During the warehouse inspection, the services of Police Commissariat No. 4 found and seized as material evidence, hundreds of packages containing thousands of fireworks of various models and sizes.
"The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action," it further states.
Tirana Police appeals to all citizens not to use pyrotechnic substances, contrary to the rules and criteria set out in the acts in force, as they will be punished in accordance with the law. Controls will continue without interruption. /Telegrafi/
