The Regional Police Directorate in Gjilan has arrested a person wanted by court order to serve a prison sentence, as part of the implementation of the operational plan for the implementation of court orders.
According to the official announcement, police officers from the Gjilan Police Station, after operational and investigative actions, have located and arrested the person BD, a Kosovar male.
He was wanted by order of the Basic Court in Gjilan to serve a two-year prison sentence for the criminal offense of "Unauthorized purchase, possession, distribution and sale of narcotics, psychotropic and analogous substances", according to Article 267 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
After the completion of the police procedures, the suspect was sent to serve his sentence.
The Regional Police in Gjilan has announced that it will continue to implement court orders and take operational actions against persons who have not responded to calls from justice bodies. /Telegrafi/
