A citizen from Gjilan, Arianit Sllamniku, has been arrested and detained for 48 hours, after he was suspected of offering "therapy" to children with autism, claiming to cure them, worth thousands of euros.

Police have announced that during the search of Sllamnik's properties, two long and two short firearms (all with permits), ammunition, several magazines, various medications, protocol books and electronic equipment, including computers, phones and microchips, were seized.

The Regional Police Directorate in Gjilan has called on citizens who have received health services or consultations from Sllamnik to come forward for an interview, in order to clarify the circumstances of the case.

"As part of the investigations, we invite all citizens who have used any therapy or medication from the person in question and who consider that they have been harmed, whether materially or health-wise, to report to the premises of the Regional Investigation Unit in Gjilan," the Kosovo Police statement states.

Investigations are ongoing and the police warn of taking further measures according to developments./Telegrafi.
