Police find weapons and military equipment in an uninhabited house in Leposavic

Kosovo Police have found and confiscated weapons, ammunition and military equipment during a search of an uninhabited house in Leposaviq.
According to the official announcement, the incident occurred on February 9, 2026, at around 14:29 p.m., when during a search of an uninhabited building, owned by a male Serbian citizen, the police encountered a significant amount of ammunition and military equipment.
During the search, 59 cartridges of unknown caliber, a metal box, a military helmet, a jacket with the emblem of Serbia, a knife sheath, a bulletproof vest, a military bag, two AK-47 automatic weapon magazines, and another magazine with one cartridge were found and confiscated.
The competent prosecutor has been notified about the case, who has ordered the initiation of the case and the undertaking of further investigative actions.
