Peja wins against Sigal Prishtina, Musab Mala shines in the derby

Peja achieved a big victory in the capital, defeating Sigal Prishtina with a score of 82:78 in the 19th round match of the Kosovo Basketball Super League.
The game took place on Sunday night at the Youth Palace and was decided largely thanks to the fantastic performance of guard Musab Mala, who finished the game with 22 points, seven rebounds and two assists, without a single turnover and with one steal.
Peja also featured center Logan Routt with 19 points and 11 rebounds, as well as Oshowen Williams with 14 points, nine assists and eight rebounds. Tajh Green added 16 points and five rebounds, contributing to the decisive victory for the Peja team.
For Sigal Prishtina, Adrio Bailey had the best performance with 25 points and nine rebounds, while Kahlil Dukes added 13 points and Valmiir Kakruki 12.
The match started with an even first quarter, while Prishtina made a seven-point breakaway in the second, ending the first half 42:34 in favor of the home team.
But Peja reacted strongly in the third quarter, which they won 26:15, taking a 60:57 lead. In the fourth quarter, the yellow team managed to pull away by up to ten points and held the lead until the end, despite increased pressure from Pristina.
This was Peja's tenth win this season, with nine losses, keeping third place with 29 points. Prishtina suffered its 11th loss and remains in sixth place with eight wins and 27 points, tied with Ylli in fifth place. /Telegraph/
