Pedro Pascal with a message of support for transgender women after the controversial decision in Britain

Pedro Pascal is continuing to show his support for the transgender community following the UK Supreme Court's controversial ruling on the issue of gender.

On Tuesday, the star of HBO's The Last of Us, 50, made a bold statement during the premiere of Marvel's Thunderbolts in London.

While posing for photos on the red carpet, Pascal opened his brown coat to reveal a white T-shirt with the words "Protect The Dolls."

The term “doll” is often used in the queer community to refer to transgender women, who, as of last week, are no longer considered women under UK law.

This historic decision came three months after President Donald Trump signed an executive order in the United States that recognizes only two genders: male and female.

Pascal's shirt was designed by American designer Conner Ives, who had previously stated that all proceeds from its sale would be donated to the charity Trans Lifeline. /Telegraph/
