After a week of delay, social assistance payments begin. Citizens who use financial assistance from social, child and civil protection will receive their payments today, the Ministry of Social Policy, Demography and Youth announced, reports Telegraph Macedonia.
Some banks are already informing users that they will be able to withdraw funds from ATMs today when the money arrives from the Ministry, more precisely that they have the opportunity to use the funds non-cash, for payments in the sales network or through electronic and mobile banking.
These days, vulnerable categories of citizens are faced with uncertainty and delays that affect their pockets. The number of beneficiaries of the guaranteed minimum assistance right as of November 2025 is 33.115 beneficiaries.
The amount of the guaranteed minimum assistance entitlement is paid depending on the family structure and the number of members in it, while the basis for calculating the amount of the entitlement in 2025 is 5.445 denars.
"Regarding this month's payments, the Ministry of Social Policy, Demography and Youth informs you that the entire procedure for preparing the payment of social rights and child protection has been completed by the Ministry's services.
At the same time, we inform you that the payment is expected to be made as soon as possible, namely no later than today," the Ministry responded to "Sloboden Peçat".
