The Physiatry Service at the "Dr. Sami Haxhibeqiri" General Hospital in Mitrovica has provided over 31 thousand physiotherapy sessions during 2025, serving hundreds of patients from the region.

According to the hospital's announcement, this service operates with a specialist in physiatry and a staff of seven physiotherapists, supported by modern equipment and complete spaces for treatment and rehabilitation.


During the past year, the Physiotherapy Service, led by Dr. Hyrije Koci, has provided health services to 840 patients, who have completed a total of 31.834 different physiotherapy sessions.

The hospital states that patients who need physiotherapy services must first present for a medical consultation, where after a professional assessment, the doctor decides whether the patient should be treated with physiotherapy sessions or other accompanying therapy for treatment.

The General Hospital in Mitrovica emphasizes that it aims to continuously advance rehabilitation services and increase capacities for treating patients in the region. /Telegrafi/
