The State Police has cracked down on a case of cultivation of narcotic plants in an apartment in Saranda.

According to a post on the social network Facebook, it is known that during the operations, 260 narcotic plants and 26.6 kilograms of cannabis were seized, as well as various equipment for their cultivation.


The announcement further states that in connection with this incident, citizen EP, 30 years old, was arrested, who was caught taking care of the plants in the apartment.

"Another person, citizen MQ, 26 years old, has been declared wanted, as he is suspected of being an accomplice in this activity. Also, four employees of OSHEE in Saranda are being investigated for abuse of office. They are citizens HA, 54 years old, HC, 34 years old, EP, 47 years old and FH, 32 years old," the announcement states.

The report also states that the police report that the apartment was adapted for growing, drying, and processing narcotic plants, while the electrical equipment used for cultivation was supplied illegally.

"In addition to the plants and cannabis, 70 spotlights, electrical equipment, a vehicle, three mobile phones and other materials used for illegal activity were seized. The footage shows police officers first knocking and then entering the apartment used for the cultivation of narcotic plants," the post says. /Telegrafi/
