Over 130 thousand citizens in today's march, "Freedom has a Name" projects symbolic message at the Presidency

In celebration of the 18th anniversary of Kosovo's Independence, the civic platform "Freedom Has a Name" held a symbolic activity in Pristina, projecting an image with the slogan: "Independence Day - Still defending our freedom" on the Kosovo Presidency building.
The projected image depicts the figures of former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), while the message emphasized that the defense of freedom continues today, 26 years after liberation and 18 years after the declaration of independence.
Tasholli said that the Independence Anniversary is a day of celebration, but also of reflection.
"Today we celebrate Independence, but at the same time we remember that our freedom is being defended again. 26 years after liberation and 18 years after independence, our liberators, Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi, are facing justice in The Hague. We believe in justice, but we demand that it be impartial and fair," he declared.
According to the organizers, the slogan "Still defending our freedom" symbolizes the conviction that the liberation war was just and that protecting its dignity remains a civic and national obligation.
Also, during the day, the "Justice, Not Politics" march was organized in Pristina, considered the largest in the history of a free Kosovo.
According to the organizers, over 130 thousand citizens participated in the march, filling the squares of the capital and sending the message for impartial justice and protection of the dignity of the liberation war. /Telegraph/
