Osmani received the British Ambassador, discussed the formation of institutions and strategic cooperation

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received today in a meeting the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves.
According to the Presidency's announcement, during the meeting, the December 28 elections and the process of establishing new institutions were discussed, for which Osmani expressed the expectation that the formation will take place as soon as possible. She assessed that the early elections were held according to the highest democratic standards and emphasized the importance of the rapid functioning of the new institutions.
Also, during the meeting, the President's initiative to conclude strategic agreements with the United Kingdom in areas of common interest, including defense, security, economy, and trade, was discussed.
The Presidency emphasizes that these agreements were also discussed during the visit of the British Foreign Secretary to Kosovo in April last year.
The meeting highlights Kosovo's efforts to strengthen cooperation with international partners and advance the democratic process in the country.
