The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received today in a meeting the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Edi Rama, with whom they discussed interstate relations and regional developments.

The focus of the talks was on close political and institutional coordination, as well as mutual commitment to intensifying cooperation in foreign policy, in order to advance common strategic interests.




Both leaders emphasized the importance of Kosovo-Albania cooperation as a factor of peace and stability in the region, as well as the constructive role of both states in international initiatives that promote peace and cooperation.

President Osmani emphasized the importance of engagement within the Peace Board, underlining the joint role in global initiatives that support dialogue, security, and democratic values.

"Kosovo and Albania are honored by the invitation from President Donald Trump to the Peace Board, as a testament to respect and partnership with strategic allies," said Osmani.

The two leaders reaffirmed the will to deepen fraternal cooperation between the two states, including economic partnership, the development of joint projects, and the creation of concrete opportunities that directly impact the well-being of citizens.

President Osmani congratulated Prime Minister Rama on Albania's progress on the path towards the European Union, describing this as a development that strengthens the European perspective of the entire region.
