The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received today in a meeting the Chargé d'Affaires of the United States of America, Anu Prattipati.
During the meeting, the progress of the parliamentary elections and the importance of meeting the highest democratic standards were discussed, which were highly appreciated by both parties. The need for the rapid establishment of institutions, while fully respecting the country's constitution, was emphasized.
President Osmani and Prattipati also exchanged views on a number of important issues in bilateral cooperation, where President Osmani reiterated Kosovo's commitment to walk side by side with the United States, in the spirit of mutual trust, shared values, and strategic cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, Prattipati conveyed to President Osmani and the First Lady New Year's greetings from US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump. /Telegraph/
