Osmani explains why she represented Kosovo on the "Peace Board" and not Kurti

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani spoke this evening after the signing of the 'Peace Board' in Davos, where she signed alongside Trump and other countries, in a moment she called historic for Kosovo.
In a live broadcast for Top Channel, from Davos, Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani shared details from the Peace Board ceremony and spoke about her conversation with US President Donald Trump.
Asked what was said in the conversation she had with US President Donald Trump, Osmani said that the head of the White House conveyed a message about Kosovo and added that it was a very positive conversation that began at the UN summit in September.
Osmani then explained why she represented Kosovo and not the Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, stating that the Kosovo constitution provides that foreign policy is led by the president, however, she emphasized that Kosovo's accession to the Peace Board was a victory for both her and the Prime Minister.
You had a conversation with President Trump during the ceremony, what was said in that conversation?
It was a very positive conversation for Kosovo and its citizens, a conversation that began at the UN summit in New York on September 28.
Why did you represent Kosovo and not Prime Minister Albin Kurti?
Because that's how the Constitution of Kosovo foresees it, because in our country the president leads foreign policy, the prime minister is also here in Davos, but we have separate duties. However, we have common successes.
You were sitting next to the president, how was this determined and why did you choose the color red in your outfit?
There were rules set by the US for both the landing and the signing, every protocol rule was set by the White House. As for the color red in clothing, it's my favorite color, a color that I love very much.
