Osmani declares assets to AKK: Property worth half a million euros in Australia, apartment, house and plot

The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, together with her husband, has submitted an asset declaration to the Anti-Corruption Agency (AKK), presenting a considerable number of real estate assets and financial income.

According to the declaration, the couple owns:

A flat purchased for a value of over 59 thousand euros;


A house that costs 170 thousand euros;

A valuable plot of land 35 thousand euros;

A valuable garage 6 thousand euros;

Also, two other residential properties have been declared:

A valuable shared property 190 thousand euros;

Another property in Australia, purchased for 510 thousand euros.

The President has also declared a car owned by her husband, worth 10 thousand euros, as well as two active loans – one of 40 thousand euros and the other one from 16 thousand euros.

In her personal name, Osmani has declared a plot of land purchased in 2016 for 35 thousand euros.

Regarding the property in Australia, she explained that the financing for this purchase came from various sources: selling an older home in Australia which was owned by the husband, inheritance from his parents, family savings and financial assistance from relatives.

Annual income

The President's annual net income amounts to 33.104 euros, while from the daily allowances for official trips abroad, she has benefited over 11.500 €.

Meanwhile, her husband has declared an annual income of 11.068 €, 12.500 euros from rent of the house in Australia, as well as over 19 thousand euros gained from a court decision at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He has also benefited about 2.800 euros daily allowance for trips abroad./Telegraph/
