The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has expressed her condolences on the passing of Haxhi Thaçi, the father of former president and former Prime Minister, Hashim Thaçi.
In a message of condolence, Osmani described the loss of a parent as an immeasurable pain, which leaves an irreplaceable void in loved ones.
"We learned with sadness the news of the passing of Mr. Haxhi Thaçi, father of the former President and former Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Hashim Thaçi. The loss of a father is an immeasurable pain, which leaves an irreplaceable void in the loved ones", emphasized Osmani.
She added that Haxhi Thaçi's contribution and love for the homeland will remain a guide and a proud memory for all those who knew him.
President Osmani expressed her most sincere condolences on behalf of herself and the people of Kosovo to former President Thaçi, his family, and all of Haxhi Thaçi's friends and relatives.
"I hope his contribution and love for the homeland will become a guide and a proud memory for all those who knew him. On my behalf and on behalf of the people of Kosovo, I express my most sincere condolences to former President Thaçi, the entire Thaçi family, as well as to the friends and relatives of Mr. Haxhi Thaçi," Osmani said.
