The State Police have announced that they have arrested a 37-year-old man in Shijak, who was a high social risk, accused of being a member of a criminal group for crimes against the person.
In the apartment where the 37-year-old was hiding, the police found and seized a pistol with combat ammunition.
"Following the work to locate, capture and detain wanted persons, the operational structures of the Police, based on information obtained through operational channels, for a wanted citizen, with high social risk, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed 'Ghosts'.
"As part of the operation, the Operational Forces of the Durrës Police Department, in cooperation with the DFPO and the "RENEA" Special Forces, near the Dry Lake, captured and handcuffed citizen EA alias AA, 37 years old, resident of Shijak," the announcement states.
This citizen is accused by the Criminal Court of Kosovo of the criminal offenses of "Premeditated Murder", committed in retaliation, "Laundering of the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity", committed within the framework of a structured criminal group, as well as "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".
The procedural materials were referred to SPAK for further action. /Telegrafi/
