Only 17 days without a club, Besnik Hasi is appointed coach of the Belgian giant

Besnik Hasi has joined a new team just 17 days after leaving KV Mechelen.

The Kosovar coach left Mechelen, and has now been appointed head of Belgian giant RSC Anderlecht.

For Hasi, it is a return to Anderlecht, after having led this team for two years from 2014 to 2016.

Anderlecht has decided to part ways with current coach David Hubert, while Hasi will replace him with a contract until the end of the season which could be extended.

"I know this club and the expectations that come with it. It is a pleasure to once again manage the Anderlecht first team," said Hasi.

Hasi, as Anderlecht coach, won the championship title and the Belgian Super Cup. /Telegraph/
