An injury occurred this morning on “Adem Jashari” street in Peja. The incident occurred at around 09:55, when the police were notified of the incident.
The Police Spokesperson for the Peja Region, Driton Rugova, confirmed the incident to Telegrafi, stating that the police reaction was immediate.
"Today at around 09:55, the Police were notified that a case of gunshot wounding had occurred on "Adem Jashari" street in Peja. The Police immediately went to the scene. The injured person was initially taken to the emergency room of the hospital in Peja, and due to the nature of the injuries, he was transferred to the UCCK, Pristina," Rugova said.
He added that the suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction.
Police have announced that investigations into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.
