Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rejects Denmark as he negotiates with 'big club'

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has ruled out taking charge of Denmark as he is currently in talks with a 'big club', according to recent reports.

Since being sacked by Manchester United in November 2021, the 51-year-old has turned down several different offers, including two from the Saudi Super League.

The Norwegian had been heavily linked with a move to American club Charlotte FC, as well as Leicester City, who were keen to bring Solskjaer to the King Power Stadium in their return to the Premier League.

But he is still without a club. In fact, the former Man United manager has recently turned down the chance to take charge of Denmark, according to Danish daily Tipsbladet.

During the month of July, Kasper Hjulmand resigned as Denmark coach after the winless run at Euro 2024.

The Danish Football Association was looking for a new coach, so they contacted Solskjaer to offer him this opportunity.

However, the Norwegian is said to be in negotiations with a so-called 'big club', so for this reason he did not want to enter into negotiations with Denmark./Telegraph/
