Official: Kimmich puts an end to rumors, continues with Bayern Munich until 2029
Joshua Kimmich has signed a new contract with Bayern Munich until June 2029.
The deal was completed on Wednesday and was officially announced today on Bayern Munich's social media.
Kimmich has been at Bayern Munich since 2015, after being transferred from Stuttgart for 8.5 million euros.

He has played a key role in midfield and has won many trophies with the club.
His renewal ends any chance for clubs like Barcelona or Real Madrid, who had been watching his situation closely.
Both clubs were interested in signing him if he left Bayern Munich as a free agent.
