Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said the recent investments in OpenAI and Anthropic could be the chipmaker's last in these companies.
"The opportunity to invest $100 billion in OpenAI is probably not in the cards," Huang said.
Nvidia and OpenAI had announced a $100 billion deal in September last year.
"Instead, Nvidia has finalized a $30 billion investment in OpenAI, which may be the last time it has the opportunity to invest in a company like this," Huang continued.
Otherwise, OpenAI is laying the groundwork for an initial public offering (IPO) that could value the company at up to $1 trillion.
In February, it was reported that Nvidia and OpenAI had abandoned their $100 billion deal due to doubts about the “health” of the AI sector. /Telegraph/
