Shkëndija players will face Samsunspor in the UEFA Conference League play-off phase, reports Telegrafi.
This will be a historic duel, as for the first time a club from North Macedonia will play in a European competition knockout stage. The first match will take place in Skopje, at the Todor Proeski Arena, while UEFA has already delegated the match officials, with referees from Norway who will administer justice.
The main referee will be Rohit Saggi, assisted by Jorgen Valstadsve and Anders Dale, while the fourth official is Nygard. The VAR system will have Hagenes as the main referee and Lien as the assistant.
Samsunspor comes into this match with new German coach Thorsten Fink, who took over the Turkish team after the departure of Thomas Reis. With his international experience, Fink aims to lead the team to a positive result in Skopje.
The match between Shkëndija and Samsunspor will be played on Thursday, starting at 21:00. /Telegraph/
