Noni Madueke believes Arsenal fans have every right to be excited about the rest of the season after the team kept their hopes of a quadruple trophy alive with a 4-0 win over Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup.

Madueke opened the scoring as Arsenal took a four-goal lead inside the first 27 minutes on Sunday, becoming the first Premier League team to score four goals in the first half hour of an FA Cup match.

Mikel Arteta's side remain in contention to win all four major trophies available in the 2025-26 season. Asked if fans should get excited, Madueke told TNT Sports:

"I think they have every right to be excited."

"We are working hard to deliver the level we need to have with our performances now."

"That's our main focus and I think it's exciting, but we have to keep doing the right things every day."

After also assisting Martinelli, Eze became the first Arsenal player to provide two assists in an FA Cup match at the Emirates Stadium since Hector Bellerin against Sunderland in January 2016.

Eze was criticised after his performance against Brentford in the last match, but Madueke was happy that his teammate reminded him of the qualities he possesses.

"He was exceptional today. He controlled everything from midfield and had a hand in all the goals. I'm very happy for him."Telegrafi
