The European integration processes have been blocked by this Government, and with it the future of many generations, emphasized SDSM MP Lupço Nikollovski on the Daily Click show on TV21, adding that the current government has betrayed the expectations of citizens not only regarding the European path, but also with what it promised before the elections.
"We are wasting time for both these generations and future generations, and this was confirmed a few months ago by the functioning and division of Albania, which held the second intergovernmental conference, opened the chapters and we who were stuck, which today we see that the topics are interethnic relations, nationalist issues and so on," said Lupço Nikollovski.
Constitutional changes and the continuation of the European path should be a priority for the entire society, Nikollovski added. However, he does not expect that the failure to achieve this goal, along with the promotion of interethnic issues, will be the reason for holding early parliamentary elections along with local elections.
"Deviating that path and stalling several generations by not fulfilling this goal and instead of going to parliamentary elections or dealing with ethnic issues and nationalist rhetoric, does not bring anyone anything good. I believe that all the energy of society should be directed towards unblocking this process together," Nikollovski declared.
Nikollovski added that in the coming period, SDSM will work on preparing local elections with what they will seek from the best candidates for councilors and mayors.
