A new audio recording has been published on the show "Debat Plus" revealing a conversation between Hysri Selim, now arrested on suspicion of espionage in favor of the Serbian secret service - BIA, and Igor Babić, an officer of this Serbian service.
Serbian music is heard in the background of the conversation, as the pair discuss a failed meeting and a missed phone call, in a communication that raises strong suspicions of direct links between Selim and Serbian intelligence structures.
In the published part of the wiretap, Selimi and Babić communicate in a familiar language, hinting that the collaboration between them is not accidental.
Excerpts from the interception:
Hysri Selimi: So, you came here earlier?
Igor Babic: Yes, brother. I swear… I came…
Hysri Selimi: You have a phone… you have…
Igor Babic: But I called you, brother. Now you'll see the missed call.
Hysri Selimi: When I have signal maybe. Oh, there's a missed call.
Igor Babic: I called you for mom, I wouldn't lie.
Hysri Selimi: If you told me not to stay here, but to go...
Igor Babic: Yes, but I thought you would stay between the church and the houses. You see, I could see there.
