The introduction of the new Ohrid-Bratislava airline and the improvement of economic and trade relations between Macedonia and Slovakia were the topics of today's meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, Aleksandar Nikoloski, and the Ambassador of Slovakia, Iveta Hricova.

The Ohrid-Bratislava route, which has been in operation since March of this year through the airline "Wizz Air", will contribute to a better connection between the two countries, and in function of the development of tourism and the business sector, the two interlocutors confirmed.


Deputy Prime Minister Nikolloski emphasized that the Government pays special attention to the development of air traffic, and the creation of this airline will bring economic ties between the two countries closer.

The meeting confirmed the good bilateral relations between Macedonia and Slovakia, discussed strengthening trade cooperation, political relations and encouraging the business climate.

Deputy Prime Minister Nikolloski emphasized that the country is in a strong investment cycle in the implementation of capital projects that have a regional dimension and make a major contribution to the development of regional cooperation through the modernization of transport infrastructure. /Telegrafi/
