Netanyahu gives Trump a gold pageboy in honor of the operation against Hezbollah

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu presented US President Donald Trump with a gold and a plain pager, in reference to a covert operation directed against the Lebanese group Hezbollah.

In return, Trump gave Netanyahu a photo of them with the dedication, "Bibi, the great leader."

In September, thousands of pagers used by Hezbollah operatives across Lebanon suddenly exploded, killing and wounding dozens of people.

A day later, hundreds of radio communicators also exploded, causing even more casualties. At least 12 civilians, including two children, were killed in the attack.

The attacks, which were quickly attributed to Israel, came at a time when Israel had intensified operations against Hezbollah, which had launched attacks on Israel almost immediately after the attack by the Palestinian group, allied with Hamas.
