Netanyahu: We want peace, but we will continue to defend ourselves from Iran
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said today that Israel seeks peace, but will continue to defend itself against Iran.
Today Israel carried out 12 airstrikes against Iranian-Syrian targets in Syria, where an Israeli F-16 was shot down.
Israel has also announced that Iran has violated Israeli airspace today, for which it has asked the UN to condemn Iran.
Meanwhile, the Pentagon has given support to Israel in self-defense, asserting that Israel is the main ally of the US in the region and will strongly support it. /Telegraph/
