Nenad Rašić is elected as Deputy Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo

Nenad Rašić has been voted as Deputy Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo.
His name was put to the vote after the nine Serb List MPs failed to secure the necessary votes to take the position.
The Speaker of the Parliament, Dimal Basha, stated that after the failure of the representatives of the Serbian List to gain the necessary support, it was decided to continue with the other candidate from the Serbian community, Nenad Rašić.
"We continue with the voting for the next candidate, which is Nenad Rashic, who represents the Serbian community in the Assembly. I invite the deputies to participate in the vote," said Basha.
The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) and the Self-Determination Movement (LVV) voted in favor of Nenad Rashiqi, while the Democratic Party of Kosovo abstained from the vote.
The result of the vote was: 71 votes in favor, 9 against and 24 abstentions.
