It's been seven months since NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams left Earth.
The pair launched the first crewed flight of Boeing's Starliner and were expected to stay in space for only eight days.
But their short trip was unexpectedly extended after a series of problems, including fuel leaks.
In September last year, it was decided that the spacecraft could not safely return the astronauts home, meaning it left the International Space Station (ISS) without them.
Due to delays in the next crew scheduled to take over operations on the ISS, originally scheduled for February, it will be at least another two months until Butch and Suni return to Earth.
So far they have lost the presidential election, Thanksgiving and Christmas, reports the Telegraph.
But the pair are in good spirits and stated that they don't 'feel like losers' in a recent press conference.
However, a space expert has warned that they could experience a terrible shock when they return home if they don't do one thing.
Kirsty Lindsay is a postgraduate researcher at Northumbria University who spent two years at the European Space Agency, where she worked on human spaceflight programmes.
Her current research explores maintaining astronaut health and applying this knowledge to clinical care on Earth.
Kirsty warned that staying in space for a long time can cause changes in the body.
"Our muscles and bones gradually weaken," Lindsay said.
Of course, this isn't a problem for astronauts while they're actually in space.
"However, when astronauts return to Earth and gravity starts pulling them down again, this can cause problems," the expert added.
"Low blood volume can cause dizziness and fainting, with female astronauts particularly at risk in the first few days after their return," Kirsty continued.
It is announced that after returning to Earth, astronauts like Butch and Suni will have a period of 'training'.
This usually lasts around 45 days. To stay 'strong and healthy', the pair will take part in 'daily exercise sessions.'
"These exercise sessions are done almost every day," said Kirsty.
"Astronauts have a medical team on Earth monitoring them, including surgeons, nurses and exercise specialists." /Telegraph/
