Muhamet Mustafa from the Riinvest Institute said in the "Confrontation Podcast" on Telegrafi.com that Kosovo is making the most important economic decisions without being based on professional analysis and without evidence.

Mustafa said that the country has gone through a year filled with political uncertainty and successive elections, which have created institutional blockages and directly affected the economy.

"What is lacking in our politics and economic governance is the lack of evidence-based decision-making. In our country, measures are taken and then we see what happens - this is inexcusable," he said during a conversation with editor-in-chief Muhamet Hajrullahu.

He brought the example of the liberalization of the energy market, emphasizing that neither ERO nor the Government had a clear analysis of the financial impact before making the decision.

Mustafa emphasized that this model of economic governance is creating great risks in a fragile period for Kosovo, especially when, according to him, politics is often guided by improvisations and not by professionalism.

Finally, Mustafa warned that delays in forming the new government endanger not only institutional stability, but also hundreds of millions of euros in funds from the European Union. /Telegraph/
