A US senator, whom Elon Musk called a "traitor" for visiting Ukraine, has announced that he is giving up his Tesla.
Democrat Mark Kelly, who has been a staunch supporter of Kiev, said any peace deal "cannot be a gift to Putin" after his visit earlier this month.
Meanwhile, Musk, an adviser to President Donald Trump, responded to the Arizona senator: "You are a traitor."
And now Kelly is quitting Tesla, writes sky news, the Telegraph reports.
"Hey people," he said in a video on social media.
"I'm here in Washington, driving to work for the last time in my Tesla," Kelly added.
"When I bought this thing, I didn't think it would become a political issue. But every time I get in this car, it reminds me of how much damage Elon Musk and Donald Trump are doing to our country," the senator continued.
"Elon Musk turned out to be a fool and I don't want to drive a car built and designed by a fool," he concluded. /Telegraph/
