The American billionaire Elon Musk has stated that he expects his company to send the plane to Mars and according to the plans of their engineers, people will soon be able to travel there.
He explained the trip to Mars depends on how the planet's orbit aligns with Earth's, which happens at a certain time almost every year, the Telegraph reports.
According to the experts of "Space X", the first flight could travel to Mars in 2022. Then that kind of adjustment of the orbit will happen, while the other trips can be realized later in 2024 and 2026.
"I would say with complete conviction that in six years people will travel to Mars. If we're lucky, maybe even within four years. In two years, they will send an unmanned spacecraft to Mars," said Musk.
He revealed that during the next 2 to 3 years, he plans to travel in space himself in his company's aircraft. According to him, the priority will be to enable people to develop an interplanetary life through the advancement of technology and to build "a base on Mars".
Musk's company will soon test the "Star ship" aircraft that will be able to transport up to 100 passengers and is intended for travel through the solar system. /Telegraph/
