Murseli seeks to speak with children in Sweden, denied communication with Behgjet Pacolli

The man accused of murdering his wife, Naim Murseli, has requested from the Court to be allowed to communicate with his children, who are in Sweden.
The presiding judge, Fatime Dermaku, during Wednesday's session where Murseli is continuing to present his defense, announced that talks are underway with the Swedish authorities regarding this request and that the matter is under review.
Murseli also requested to speak with businessman Behgjet Pacolli, but this request was not approved by the Court. Murseli previously served as Pacolli's advisor.
According to the announcement, his request for communication with his son-in-law was also denied.
Naim Murseli, along with Granit Plava and Kushtrim Kokalla, are accused of the murder of Liridona Ademaj on November 29, 2023.
According to the indictment, Murseli organized the murder of his wife for revenge and financial gain, promising Plava 30 thousand euros if she carried it out. Kokalla is accused of complicity in the crime of "Aggravated Murder."
The fourth defendant, Tom Dodaj, who sold the gun to Mursel from Plav for 280 euros, pleaded guilty. The Basic Court sentenced him to 5 years in prison, which was later reduced to three years by the Appeals Court. /EO/
