RCD Mallorca footballer Vedat Muriqi, who scored a hat-trick in the 3-2 victory against Athletic Club, has confirmed that he feels happy on the island and revealed that sporting director Pablo Ortells had told him that he would not sell him.
"I'm happy here, I have a contract and things are the way they are. If a striker scores a lot of goals, of course offers will come, but I'm happy here and the club has decided on my future," said Muriqi after the match, in which he scored his first hat-trick with Mallorca.
The Kosovo representative has also revealed the conversation he had with Mallorca's sports director.
"I spoke to Pablo Ortells two days ago and left the decision up to him. I told him I couldn't talk about negotiations because we had just renewed our contracts. If the club was going to be saved by the money from my sale, then he should decide, but he said no and I'm happy here," Muriqi continued.
The Prizrenas player excelled with three goals against Bilbao and expressed himself very happy with the goals scored.
"I'm very happy. I knew I was on a good run, but that wasn't enough to win the games. My first hat-trick with Mallorca and the three points earned are even more important."
