The Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati, spoke about the report of the US Department of State.
Murati said that the word corruption in the DASH report for 2023 was mentioned 12 times, while in 2019 it was mentioned 24 times.
"If we had to approach this issue in a quantitative way so as not to take words out of context, we can see how many times the word corruption is mentioned. The word corruption was mentioned 12 times in the DASH report. In the 2019 report, it was 24 times. According to the report, if we look at it in quantitative terms, there is at least a halving of corruption", said Murati.
He further added that if we go into the quality and analyze the words and sentences, we see that in some cases the drafters of the report have fallen prey to misinformation.
"If we enter the quality and see what is written there, we see that even the reporter himself or whoever drafted the report, also fell prey to the misinformation of the media, which are part of the old guard and some civil society organizations which are called such but are actually extensions of the old guard", said Murati. /Telegraph/
