The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has held bilateral meetings and fruitful talks while participating in the 62nd Munich Security Conference (MSC), one of the most important forums on the continent for security issues.

At the conference, Kurti was accompanied by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Glauk Konjufca, as well as the Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci.


The main topics of discussion included security and defense, bilateral cooperation, democratic progress, and economic development. The Prime Minister met with heads of state and international institutions, including: the Prime Minister of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, and the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Gordan Grlić-Radman; the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Johann Wadephul, and the State Secretary for the Interior, Hans-George Engelke.

Kurti also met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway, Espen Barth Eide; Senators from the United States of America Jeanne Shaheen, Chris Murphy, Thom Tillis and Ruben Gallego; German Bundestag members Jurgen Hardt, Adis Ahmetovic, Carl-Philipp Sassenrath and Deborah Düring; and the Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), former Prime Minister of Belgium Alexander De Croo.

During the meetings, Kurti says he presented Kosovo's achievements over the last five years and the projects of the new governing mandate.

He emphasized that investments in police forces and the military will increase and expand together with democratic and Western partners, to strengthen security, the rule of law and the fight against organized crime.
