Mother Mihrije Daçaj, whose twin sons were killed in Prizren during the last war in Kosovo, has requested a life sentence for Miloš Plesković.

She made these statements at the Court of Appeals session for the review of the appeal against the decision of the Basic Court in Pristina, in the case against Miloš Plesković, accused of war crimes in the Prizren area.

"We are asking for a life sentence," Mihrija said briefly.

The defense attorney, Blend Gjini, also requested the death penalty, and further emphasized that the lawyer's complaint is unfounded.

"Considering that we are dealing with the murder of Albanian civilians, since the experiences and sufferings were reproduced again in the session, we consider that the sentence imposed by the first instance court is small, since the law provides for a sentence of up to 20 years for these criminal offenses, we request from the Court of Appeal that, taking into account these circumstances and facts, the accused be sentenced to a capital punishment. Therefore, in conclusion, I propose to the panel of the Special Department for War Crimes to reject the lawyer's request, since such a request is unfounded", he said. /Kp/
