The chairman of the Social Democratic Party, Dardan Molliqaj, stated on Friday that the decision to suspend the business license of the "ArtMotion" company resembles a bolt of lightning.
The Business Registration Agency in Kosovo has revoked the business certificate of the "ArtMotion" company. The decision is dated June 22, 2023.
And according to Molliqaj, this decision was not supported by solid reasons.
"Who said that the system does not accommodate authoritarian regimes? Does it say anymore? The recent decision to suspend Artmotion's license now looks like a lightning bolt. Nor have they tired for more stable support and reasoning, however scandalous".
"Any legal violation or mistake can be interpreted as motivated and tendentious by paranoid powers that control and dictate have means and goals," he wrote on Facebook.
The head of the PSD further said that it is enough to examine the vocabulary with which minister Rozeta Hajdari is served, to see "what special war is being waged against the media".
"These regimes are always called 'threat to public security' and 'violation of constitutional norms'. Typical. But, when the violation is committed by them, it is established by the Constitutional Court, the silence prevails. In Kurti's third Republic, there are no technical errors, there are goals and tendencies".
"There are no corrections, there are punishments. There are no doubts, there are indictments. This brings to mind the story of how reactionary forces are trying to turn back, through a counter-revolution. But the media is not the enemy of Kosovo, nor did the party in power make any revolution", Molliqaj wrote further.
As he said, this government has lost this war depending on how much we will be mobilized as a society.
"At the end of the day, disciplining the media is an attempt to control us, the citizens of this country. The way the lesson against free speech has taken pointed out the importance of the media precisely in this heavy political context for the country".Telegraph/
