A 25-year-old man injured by gunfire in South Mitrovica presented himself to the Emergency Department of the "Dr. Sami Haxhibeqiri" General Hospital at around 19:48 p.m.
The spokesperson for the Regional Hospital in Mitrovica, Shpend Fazliu, confirmed to KosovaPress that the patient suffered leg injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment and therapy, while his health condition is stable and out of danger to his life.
"Tonight, at around 19:48, a 25-year-old patient presented to the Emergency Department with leg injuries. He is being treated and is out of danger," Fazliu stated.
The case is related to the previously reported incident with firearms on "UÇK" street, in South Mitrovica, where Kosovo Police have arrested two suspects and are continuing investigations to fully unravel the incident.
